The ZUZU Mobile App provides the convenience of being able to manage the basic and most crucial functions of your hotel while on the go. This article provides an overview of how to navigate within the app.


There are four main tabs within the ZUZU Mobile app - Availability, Reservations, Notifications, and More.


Navigation within the app

Look for the Hamburger icon in the top left corner of the app. Clicking on it will produce a slideout which contains the following functions:

  1. Select hotel from the dropdown menu (only applicable to users who manage multiple properties);
  2. Change the language used in the app;
  3. Settings > Turn on/off 'Allow Receiving Notifications' and 'Biometric/PIN lock for secure sign-in';
  4. Logging out from the app.


Other navigation functionalities will be released in later versions.

Logging in and out

Logging into the app is the same as logging into the web version of HMS. Users should use the same login ID and password. Check the 'Remember my credentials for next time' box to login without having to type the email and password each time. 


To log out of the app, click on the hamburger icon on the top left hand corner of the app then select “Log-out”. 


Availability

The Availability tab is the section where users can manage room availability by date and by room type. This is also where users can apply or remove a stop-sell for a specific date or room type. 


Reservations

The Reservations tab contains the list of all the reservations at the property. This tab also contains several Filter and Sort options. From here, users can click into the extended booking card to update the traveller details, guest payments and charges, and booking statuses.


Notifications

The Notifications tab displays the latest booking activity as well as daily reminders for the hotel. 


Booking activity includes new bookings, modifications, cancellations, and no-shows. Daily reminders are actions which need to be taken on select bookings. These include reminders to:

  • Collect outstanding payments on postpay bookings.
  • Update guest details for today's arrivals.
  • Update the booking status for bookings with yesterday’s check in date but are still in Confirmed or Confirmed-Modified status. 


Notifications received in the mobile app are marked as Seen or Unseen. Unseen notifications are new notifications which were received since the user last viewed the Notifications tab. 


Users can tap 'Mark all as read' to clear the Unseen Notifications and move them to the Seen Notifications section. To look for notifications from a specific date, tap Choose Date and select the date.


Housekeeping

Housekeeping can be found by clicking on the 'More' tab.


The Housekeeping tab lists the current conditions of each room at the property. There are several ways to filter and sort the rooms, depending on how users would like to use the information.

  1. Sort the list by the Room Type or Notes
  2. Filter room by Room Status (Turnover, Check-out, Stay-over, Check-in)
  3. Filter room by Vacant or Dirty Rooms (Vacant Clean, Vacant Dirty, Occupied Dirty)
