Bookings from online direct channels can be identified by one of the following channel names:
- BEIPrepay, BEIScheduled
- GooglePrepay, GoogleScheduled
- TrivagoPrepay, TrivagoScheduled
"xxxPrepay" indicates that a booking was successfully prepaid via payment methods such as electronic wallet, virtual account (bank transfer), or electronic banking. The credit card icon's colour in the Traveller Folio section of the main booking card is dark green to indicate that the booking is "Fully Paid". The booking rate plan can be on a non-refundable, flexible, or tiered cancellation policy.
"xxxScheduled" indicates that a booking was made with a credit or debit card. The credit card icon's colour in the Traveller Folio section of the main booking card differ depending on the payment status after being processed by the payment gateway:
- The credit card icon's colour will be dark green when credit/debit card details are verified and full payment has been successfully charged.
- The credit card icon's colour will be light green when credit/debit card details are verified and partial payment has been charged.
- The credit card icon's colour will be grey when credit/debit card details are verified and no payment has been charged.
- The credit card icon's colour will be red when credit/debit card details are no longer valid at the time it is due to be charged. Hotels need to collect this outstanding amount directly from the guest at the property. The amount to be collected can be found under "Balance" in the Traveller Folio on the booking card.
Therefore, it is important for users to always check the colour of the credit card icon and the amount shown as Balance on the Traveller Folio to understand if an amount needs to be collected directly from the guest at the hotel.
