Bookings made or received with the following channels are considered direct bookings:
Booking Engine - Direct
- BEI Scheduled / BEI Prepay (Direct - Booking Engine)
- Google Scheduled / Google Prepay (Google - Booking Engine)
- Trivago Scheduled / Trivago Prepay (Trivago Booking Engine)
Manual - Direct
- Hotel Walk-in
- Hotel Offline Postpay / Hotel Offline Prepay
- Direct Website Postpay / Direct Website Prepay
Unlike bookings which have been received via a third party channel like an OTA, hotel users* have the rights to make edits to direct bookings as long as the booking is still in the Confirmed or Checked-in statuses.
Note: Editing rights are limited to users with Hotel Manager and Back Office user roles.
