Bookings made or received with the following channels are considered direct bookings:



Booking Engine - Direct

  1. BEI Scheduled / BEI Prepay (Direct - Booking Engine)
  2. Google Scheduled / Google Prepay (Google - Booking Engine)
  3. Trivago Scheduled /  Trivago Prepay (Trivago Booking Engine)

Manual - Direct

  1. Hotel Walk-in 
  2. Hotel Offline Postpay / Hotel Offline Prepay 
  3. Direct Website Postpay / Direct Website Prepay 


Unlike bookings which have been received via a third party channel like an OTA, hotel users* have the rights to make edits to direct bookings as long as the booking is still in the Confirmed or Checked-in statuses


Note: Editing rights are limited to users with Hotel Manager and Back Office user roles.
