A single reservation with multiple rooms can be created for guests who are travelling in a group. Multiple or Bulk bookings can also be made from the mobile app.


Scenario:

Through phone reservation, a group of 10 guests made a bulk booking. The group plans to book 5 rooms–all rooms should have the same type, rate, and next to each other. Each room consists of 2 people.


To create this bulk booking, follow the same steps as creating a single booking from the app, but update the number in the Room count field to indicate the number of rooms which the travel party requires.

1. In the Reservation tab, tap on the ‘+’ icon.

2. In the Manual booking entry, fill in all of the traveller details (traveller first and last name, traveller email address, phone number). Since it was made through phone reservation, choose ‘Hotel Walk-in’ as the booking channel.

3. Fill in '5' in the Rooms count field. 5 indicates the number of rooms registered under one reservation.


4. Now, there are 5 rooms which details must be completed under the Room details section:

  1. As requested, all rooms should have the same room type and be next to each other. Users must manually select the room type, room number, and rate plan for each room.
  2. Fill in ‘2’ in all of the Guest count fields. 2 indicates the number of people who will be in each room.


5. Select one of the check-in options provided. Since this bulk booking is made through phone reservation, choose “Save for future check-in”.


6. The multiple bookings have been successfully created. Users can identify bookings registered under the same reservation by looking at the Booking ID. Bulk bookings under the same reservation share the same Booking ID, with the last two digits indicating the room count.
