The Availability calendar performs the function of a channel manager and allows users to:

  • View rooms available for distribution and current rates pushed to online channels on each day.
  • Make changes to availability and rates.



Actions You Can Take in The Availability Calendar 

  1. Update availability - for single dates or across date ranges.
  2. Apply stop sells - for single dates or across date ranges.
  3. Close hotel completely on specific days.


Note: Difference between setting availability to 0 and applying a stop-sell.

  • If availability is set to 0, and a previously booked room is now cancelled, availability is updated back to 1 and customers can book the room online.
  • If a stop-sell is applied, and a previously booked room is now cancelled, rooms remain closed on online channels although availability is updated back to 1.
